Or not completely.
Leen woke up super dizzy and couldn’t even get out of bed. She was starving, but knew if she stood up, she’d pass out.

So, I started to bring her some cookies and a sports gel (which is very much like syrup), but the dizziness stayed.
She started to suspect, based on the symptoms, that she had a blood pressure drop or low blood pressure, causing the nausea. So I rushed to the kitchen and brought her some salted cookies and some medicine for her stomach. But it took time to gain some stability and strength.
After breakfast, we took our time and went to Horst, a nearby village some 3 km from our tiny house.
While driving into the village, we passed a bakery that served scrambled eggs with onion and bacon. What more does a low-battery biker need?

Next, we stopped at a pharmacy for some isotonic electrolytes to balance Leen’s blood values. The pharmacist was so compassionate that she gave us some free dextrose-based candies.
Then we did some shopping at Edeka for dinner, and tomorrow’s breakfast and lunch on the go. I feel like we spend a lot of time shopping, mainly because we can only buy a few meals at a time. Maybe this will get better as we go.
In the afternoon, Leen immediately took the medicine, or let’s call them the supplements.

For the rest of the afternoon ̶w̶e̶ ̶r̶e̶s̶t̶e̶d̶ ̶ we cleaned our bikes so that all the mud from yesterday was washed away.

Okay, to be honest, there was time left for some relaxation. I even made a little drawing of Bålar and Målin, who are sitting in the tiny house where we also sleep.
In the evening, gravad lax (marinated salmon) on toast to prepare us mentally for Scandinavia.

We already said our goodbyes to our host Katharina, as she will be off to work at 7 tomorrow. Julian was away for his job, so he could not pose for the goodbye photo.

In the evening, Leen went on a short wildlife tour around the house. She captured the sound of young long-eared owls.
Although we see the shadow of the mother owl fly by from time to time as they nest in the tree near the tiny house, she could not capture a picture of the night bird.
So she took some pics of the sunset instead.

When she returned, we would read for a while and go to sleep, hoping that we were 100% ready for three bike days. But hey, the weather looks fine, so what could go wrong?
