To work on our fitness, we finally set out for a tour near Sint-Truiden. The ride included some climbing, so our muscles got a bit of a workout.

Of course, we weren’t alone. We rode together with Leen’s sister and her husband, Jan. They were on e-bikes and so they increased the speed a bit. We still drove our trusty Gazelles as our new bikes are still not delivered (to be expected in week 16 or beyond).

There were plenty of bike tourists along the way, enjoying one of the first beautiful days in quite some time. It struck me to see how many people, even the younger ones, were riding e-bikes.

Traditional bikes are starting to feel like a rare sight these days.

And as you might have guessed, we did not drive 7hours and 25 minutes , as we had a nice lunch in Chateau de La Motte, and at the end a coffee in the Eleventh Commandement (Elfde gebod).

Hey Hey!
